 Download 1Tree Basic Trial Version 2.2 for Windows®, 1.22 MB, updated at Feb 29, 2012. 1Tree Basic is portable software for Windows popular versions, no installation needed, just extract all files from the downloaded package (1tree-basic.zip) to a folder of your (removable) disk drive (NOT recommended to use system drive). Double-click "1tree-basic.exe" to run.
Note:
1. For Windows 2003- systems, you need to run "FirstRun!!!.vbs" first to check your system environment.
2. Though it can work under Windows Vista/7 without UAC prompt, but we still recommend you run it as Administrator in Vista/Win7 to get the size of more system resources. If you have not the permission to count the size of the resource, 1Tree will display its size as "Cannot Compute Size". Uncheck desktop icon, Quick Launch icon and autostart options on the Preferences interface and click <Save & Close> button, and then delete 1tree-basic folder that you extracted from the downloaded portable package. In addition, there is nothing to do, and 1Tree had NOT left anything in your system. If you have paid the license fee, you will get the license key INSTANTLY via email!
Please click 'Input License Key' menu item under <Gets your license.> button on the main interface to input or paste the license key EXACTLY as shown in your license email.
Note:
1. If registered successfully, you can find your license information on the "About..." interface.
2. Your license will never expire, and we will send the new key to you by e-mail if it is changed in the new version. Lost the license key? Don't worry. It's easy to retrieve your license key of 1Tree. Just click 'Retrieve License Key' menu item under <Gets your license.> button on the main interface. 1. Download latest version of the upgrade package from our official website automatically if the new version is available.
2. Exit program automatically.
3. Extract all files from the upgrade package and overwrite yours manually. After started, 1Tree will load all drives and the first level resources of the smallest drive. Clicking a resource (drive/folder) will load its first level resources (file/folder).

And you can perform some operations for the selected resource (drive, folder and file) by clicking toolbar buttons or context menu items, such as Permanently Delete, Move to Recycle Bin, Copy to, Move to, Copy Full Path, Run, Open and Display Property.

1Tree also provides you with a few options to customize the interface and shortcuts, such as Tree Font, Toolbar Location, Data Separator (splits the name and size for each resource), Desktop/Quick Launch Icon, Autostart. And you can preview the effect for Tree Font and Toolbar Location options before save them.
